New favorite sipping glass. I have been drinking bourbon/rye from traditional Glencairns for years now. Always thought the neck was too narrow for stronger American whiskeys. I also very much missed the feel of sipping from a larger rocks glass. This glass checks all the boxes for nosing, taste, and feel. I really like the look as well. An added bonus is knowing the 1.5 oz pour at the largest width of the glass.

The neat glasses are now my go to favorite whiskey glassware. I have a set of both the clear and smoke tinted ones. Both are amazing but I really like the smoke tinted ones for the look they have. Wish they were available all the time. Really enhances the nose and palate. Would definitely buy again (and will for sure if the smoke tinted ones come back).

Wow. These glasses are the BEST. I love bourbon and already owned several sets of Glen Cairn glasses but a friend recommended these and everyone who uses them ends up buying a set. There's nothing like them. The quality and feel in your hand is like no other.

Absolutely love the weight and feel while having a dip on my favorite bourbons. I have been able to pick up on new notes within the nose of said sips each time. Absolutely amazing. Looking forward to adding more to my collection

Not like the originals, do not buy! Shame on you Aged & Ore! These are half the weight of the originals we fell in love with. I just received 4 glasses as a Christmas gift. Could tell right out of the box they weren’t the same. These feel more like you’re just holding a standard shot glass. EXTREMELY disappointing A&O changed these. SMH. Would be sending them back immediately if they weren’t a gift. Take a look for yourself. Old glass is on the left, new on the right.

These glasses are made very well and have a very nice base to them. Seem very sturdy and hard to knock over I use these glasses to drink aged tequila and I think I like them very very well.

This is not a thin-walled Glencairn glass. This glass is heavy feeling more substantial in your hand. All the while having the bulbous lower and smaller top lending it's self to the positive traits of the Glencairn. Outstanding high quality product.

I bought the neat traveller last summer and accidentally broke the glass. I was so sad as it's my favorite glass to drink scotch neat.
Thankfully glasses are sold separately and I purchased two more.
If you are a whisky enthusiast that likes to nose and take tasting notes you will appreciate this design.

Same as others have said, the newer glasses are insubstantial and not nearly as pleasant to use. Very disappointing. Its a real bait and switch from my perspective. The description and imagery still talk about the substantial base but it just isn't true, not much heavier than a glencairn. They are basically an entirely different glass with no mention of a full redesign to alert buyers.

I like the feel of this glass: it's shape and weight and the gentle curve at top rim. Pours my scotch more easily than my glencairn type. It is now my primary scotch glass.

Being newer to the bourbon game, I wasn't aware of how the right glass made all the difference when drinking. I ran across an Aged and Ore ad talking about the design and function of the neat glass and was immediately intrigued enough to order 3 plus the traveler. Wow! From the feel of the glass to the nose while sipping, this glass makes a difference! Do yourself a favor and order one (or 4, ya know, buddies do come over) and experience the difference.

I purchased Neat Glasses when they first became available. I loved the weight and feel of them. When I purchased one more later, the glass did not have the same thick base as the first with a difference of 250 grams down to 166 grams. This change was disappointing but not terrible. The four Neat Glasses that I just received (late 2024) are now 139 grams and I was tempted to return them.
